Aqara, a company known for its work in the Internet of Things (IoT) and multiple smart home devices, has introduced a new series of smart home products that will be on display at CES 2025. The collection includes in-wall control panels, smart switches, presence and climate sensors, and Matter Controllers. These products are designed to enhance user interaction with smart home technology and ensure compatibility with various platforms.

The company has developed in-wall control panels for the global market, including the Panel Hub S1 Plus, Touchscreen Dial V1, and Touchscreen Switch S100 US. These devices come with touchscreen interfaces and allow users to manage smart devices and scenes without needing a smartphone. The Panel Hub S1 Plus, for example, can control and automate up to two lights, manage various devices, and trigger routines, serving as both a Zigbee hub and Matter bridge. It will be available in the European market shortly, with a North American version expected later.

Aqara will also introduce dual-protocol smart switches, the Light Switch H2 and Dimmer Switch H2, to North America. These switches feature Thread and Zigbee connectivity, providing greater flexibility across Matter platforms. They are designed for homes with or without a neutral wire, making them accessible to users with limited electrical knowledge. The Light Switch H2 comes in different versions, and availability varies between the European and North American markets, with releases scheduled for later this year and early next year.

The company has expanded its Thread portfolio with new sensors and Border Routers. The Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 is a battery-operated device that uses PIR and mmWave sensing for human detection and ambient monitoring. It supports Thread and Zigbee protocols and includes additional sensors for light, temperature, and humidity. The Climate Sensor W100 also supports dual-protocols and features a display for room temperature and humidity. It allows users to control smart devices with additional buttons.

The Doorbell Camera Hub G410 offers improved video quality and privacy features. It supports various platforms such as Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. The camera includes features like facial recognition, presence detection, and flexible installation options. The Hub M100 is a compact Matter Controller that connects and manages Aqara and third-party Matter devices.
