LG Electronics is introducing a new indoor gardening appliance at CES 2025. This appliance merges advanced plant growth technology with a modern lamp design. It is suitable for both beginners and those living in urban environments who wish to incorporate greenery into their homes. The appliance is designed to be both a stylish piece of decor and a practical tool for growing fresh produce.
The new model is designed with a slender and upright structure, featuring a circular lampshade and base. It offers more space for plant growth compared to previous LG models, which allows users to grow a wider range of plants, including taller varieties. The growing space is adaptable, and the LED lights can be adjusted in height, creating optimal conditions for various types of plants, such as leafy greens, herbs, flowers, and fruits.
Designed for convenience, the appliance supports ongoing growing cycles and has a water tank with a capacity of 1.5 gallons. This feature reduces the need for frequent refills. The device includes two types of lighting: lights directed downward with five intensity levels for plant growth, and upward-facing lights to create a calming ambiance in the evening. This dual lighting system enhances the functionality of the gardening appliance.
The appliance can accommodate twenty plants and includes a four-seed-kit capacity. It automatically dispenses the appropriate amount of water and nutrients, ensuring plant care even when users are away for up to a week. It is also compatible with the LG ThinQ app, allowing users to manage their plants remotely by adjusting lighting settings and monitoring growth.
Additionally, LG will present a new indoor gardening appliance with a side table design at CES 2025. This model offers a compact and multifunctional gardening experience, aligning with LG’s goal to offer diverse options for different customer preferences. The company aims to provide indoor solutions that make gardening accessible to everyone. CES 2025 attendees can view these new appliances at LG’s booth (#15004, Las Vegas Convention Center) from January 7-10.
