LG Electronics has introduced its latest product, the LG MyView Smart Monitor (model 34SR60QC). This new release features a 34-inch curved display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, designed to enhance productivity and entertainment. The monitor boasts a WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution VA panel, offering 300 nits of brightness, a wide viewing angle, and 99 percent sRGB color gamut coverage.
The 34SR60QC is designed to improve work efficiency with its elongated, high-resolution display. It includes screen-organization features and support for various home-office applications. The 21:9 UltraWide display provides additional screen space, allowing users to keep multiple tabs and windows open simultaneously. The built-in Screen Split function facilitates optimal arrangement of these windows. Users can access applications such as email, online document editors, and cloud storage directly on the monitor without needing to connect to a PC or laptop.
For entertainment, the UltraWide screen is suitable for viewing 21:9 content without letter-boxing, providing a cinematic experience. The 34SR60QC supports streaming of 21:9 format video, enhancing the viewing experience for users.
The monitor is equipped with the LG webOS platform, granting access to content services like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. It also offers LG Channels, a free premium content service with over 300 channels. The 34SR60QC supports AirPlay 2 and ScreenShare, allowing users to stream or mirror content from their smartphones.
The monitor can be connected to the LG ThinQ smart home platform, enabling control via the ThinQ app on smartphones, which can act as a remote with touch- and voice-control capabilities. Users can also manage monitor settings and navigate webOS with a keyboard and mouse.
