EZVIZ, a global smart home security company, has introduced its first 4K solar cameras. This launch marks the beginning of an Ultra HD future for the company’s camera lineup. The new cameras are designed with innovative features and eco-friendly technology, making them suitable for outdoor use. They offer advantages over traditional wired options by reducing the demand for installation, power, and labor.

The series includes three models: the EB5 4K and the CB5 4K solo cameras, which have integrated solar panels, and the BC1c 4K, which requires an add-on solar panel. These cameras are designed to be flexible and adaptable to various home exteriors. They include smart detection capabilities for people and vehicles and feature EZVIZ’s Always-on Video (EZVIZ AOV) mode, which provides continuous images without quickly draining the battery.

The cameras have a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, capturing detailed visuals in vivid colors. They record detected activities and wake up at scheduled intervals in AOV mode to provide continuous visual information. The 4K videos are smoothly streamed and securely stored, thanks to large local storage capacity, H.265 compression technology, and Wi-Fi 6 compatibility.

Each EB5 or CB5 can operate continuously with only two hours of direct sunlight per day. During the rainy season, their large batteries allow them to run for up to 180 days without recharging. These cameras can be set up quickly without professional assistance, making them suitable for both residential and business premises.

The 4K Solar series is part of EZVIZ’s Green Initiative, advocating for sustainable homes and environmental protection. The sales of these cameras will support the EZVIZ Global Forest Plan, which aims to finance farmers in planting economic tree species to combat land degradation and reduce poverty.
