Govee, a company known for its smart home lighting products, has announced a partnership with the Japanese anime series Evangelion to release a new line of gaming lights. The Govee x Evangelion Gaming Lights aim to merge Evangelion’s storytelling elements with Govee’s lighting technology to offer new hardware for gamers. The collaboration focuses on innovation and self-expression, with products designed to enhance personalized gaming experiences.

These lights look absolutely stunning when used to decorate your walls, and promise to give much less psychological trauma than what the pilots of the Eva endured.

The centerpiece of this collaboration is the Gaming Wall Light (H6063), which is influenced by the Evangelion Test Type-01. Key features of the Gaming Wall Light include:

  • Iconic Design: It incorporates Evangelion’s EVA-01 colors and designs.
  • Futuristic Dual-layered Construction: It has a translucent faceplate with dynamic backlighting and a diffused light line for a three-dimensional effect. The faceplate is replaceable and offers various design options.
  • Dynamic Battle Effects: The light includes eight Evangelion-themed lighting effects that mimic combat scenarios from the anime.
  • Customizable DIY Effects: Users can control light zones and dynamic effects, with options for 16 million color combinations.
  • Modular Assembly Options: The light can be assembled in up to 12 configurations using triangle and square connectors.

In addition to the Gaming Wall Light, the Govee Gaming Lights lineup includes other products like the AI Sync Box and Gaming Light Bars. These products can be synchronized using Govee’s Dreamview technology to create a cohesive and immersive gaming environment.

The Govee x Evangelion collections will be available for pre-order starting July 24th, 2024, through Govee.com and the Govee Home Application. The official release date is July 29th, 2024.
