Govee has announced the release of the second generation of its Curtain Lights in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film, “The Wild Robot,” set to premiere in theaters on September 27, 2024. This partnership introduces themed lighting products designed to enhance the home entertainment experience.
The new Govee Curtain Lights 2 feature three exclusive lighting effects inspired by key moments in “The Wild Robot,” reflecting the film’s narrative of a robot named Roz, voiced by Lupita Nyong’o, who adapts to life on an uninhabited island. These effects, titled “Beginning,” “Baby Brightbill,” and “Bonding,” aim to bring the film’s themes to life.
In addition to these themed effects, the Curtain Lights 2 have been upgraded with advanced pattern display technology and a new Bluetooth chip for improved visual performance. The lights offer up to ten customizable layers, allowing users to create personalized designs. The AI Lighting Bot feature provides tailored lighting effects through voice or text commands, enhancing user interaction.
The Wild Robot-themed Curtain Lights 2 include more than 200 preset scene modes and dynamic music synchronization. They are compatible with Matter and the Govee Home app, integrating with smart home systems and voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant. The lights are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, with an IP65 waterproof rating and multiple installation options.
The collaboration also introduces The Wild Robot-themed Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 and TV Backlight 3 Lite. The Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 offer enhanced brightness and reliability with Matter compatibility. The TV Backlight 3 Lite features Envisual color-matching technology and improved light strip quality for an enhanced viewing experience.
