Govee has announced the launch of two new products in the smart lighting sector during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. The company has introduced the Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2 and the Neon Rope Light 2, building on the success of their previous models.
The Govee AI Sync Box Kit 2 is designed for an enhanced gaming experience, supporting up to 8K resolution and offering 4K at 120 Hz gameplay with dynamic lighting synchronization. It utilizes Govee’s CogniGlow AI recognition technology to adapt lighting effects based on in-game content, aiming to provide a personalized gaming atmosphere. The system is compatible with the Govee Home app, Alexa, and Google Assistant, and will receive a Matter-compatible update over the air (OTA).
Alongside this, the Neon Rope Light 2 has been introduced with improved RGBIC lighting effects, new bend clips, and a more flexible material that allows for customizable designs. This new model can be controlled via the Govee Home app which uses camera shape recognition for lighting customization. Available in black and white, the Neon Rope Light 2 is also Matter-compatible for smart control.
Govee’s AI algorithm, CogniGlow, has been enhanced to reach 99% accuracy and now supports multi-tasking AI with parallel processing. The company is also introducing an Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) called Lighting Bot, which will respond to various scenarios with dynamic lighting effects.
Additionally, Govee has partnered with Corsair to integrate their smart lighting with Corsair’s iCUE software ecosystem. This collaboration will allow for synchronized lighting effects between Corsair RGB peripherals and Govee light products, with further developments expected later in the first quarter of the year.
