LeafyPod, a company focused on smart home automation and well-being, has launched an AI-powered smart planter on Kickstarter. The product aims to simplify plant care for busy individuals by integrating technology with traditional plant care methods.

LeafyPod is set to deliver in Spring 2025. According to Cleo Song, co-founder of LeafyPod, the mission is to incorporate nature and wellness into homes regardless of the owner’s schedule or experience with plants. LeafyPod uses AI technology to automate plant care, allowing users to enjoy the presence of plants without the usual maintenance concerns.

This new plant pot is perfect for folks who have the best of intentions, but still end up murdering their plants. Key features of LeafyPod include an automated watering system that adjusts based on plant behavior, sensors that monitor plant needs, and a cordless design with a battery life of up to three months.

The planter’s 30-ounce reservoir can sustain plants for weeks. The product aims to promote wellness by reducing stress and improving air quality, as it integrates into smart home systems. Personalized care instructions for over 100 houseplants are available through an app, enhancing the smart home experience by automating plant care tasks.

LeafyPod encourages the adoption of a greener lifestyle by making plant care more accessible. Interested individuals can pre-order the product on Kickstarter. For more information, visit LeafyPod’s website here.
