Hithium has introduced HeroES, its first home microgrid system that does not require installation, during the second Hithium Eco-Day event in Beijing, China. The HeroES system is composed of two main components: the Storage series, a smart storage module, and the SynergyBox, a smart control module. This new energy solution is designed specifically for home energy storage and represents a shift in the market towards more intelligent and modular solutions. The company plans to begin global distribution of HeroES in the third quarter of 2025.
The design of HeroES emphasizes an open-shelf approach, which simplifies the installation process and reduces associated costs. Traditional systems can take significantly longer to set up, but HeroES allows for an initial installation time of just 30 minutes. This system also reduces the initial cost of installation to one-third of what is typically expected, as it requires no additional time for system expansion and debugging. The plug-and-play nature of HeroES, along with its self-evolution capabilities, makes it a user-friendly solution for homeowners.
The SynergyBox smart control module is a critical component of HeroES, integrating functions such as metering, communication, networking, and management. This module uses Hithium’s proprietary algorithm to enhance home energy management, improving energy efficiency by at least 10 percent. The system also employs a cloud-based decision-making algorithm that provides real-time optimization strategies, eliminating the need for users to engage in complex setup processes. Furthermore, Hithium’s system supports cross-platform smart home solutions compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa through the Matter protocol, further connecting energy storage with smart home technologies.
HeroES offers scalable solutions that can be tailored to specific home energy needs. The storage series allows for customized power distribution based on kilowatt-hour requirements, enabling users to start with a smaller initial investment and expand as needed. The design includes fewer types of smart storage modules, which helps in reducing costs significantly. Additionally, the module-isolation design of HeroES enhances fault tolerance, as standardized small modules can be independently controlled and are compatible with different versions. This ensures system reliability and minimizes downtime in case of module failure.
The standardized design of HeroES ensures compatibility with various environments, allowing the system to be easily moved and reconfigured to maximize space utilization and address installation space limitations. This installation-free microgrid system promises to revolutionize home energy storage by offering a smart, connected solution for a wide range of scenarios. HeroES aims to bring advanced home microgrids to a large number of households.
