Hydrific’s Leader, Julia Deister, expressed that the recognition by Fast Company is a testament to the dedication of the Hydrific team in delivering user-friendly products aimed at promoting intentional consumption habits. Hydrific was acknowledged for its commitment to addressing the water crisis with innovative and accessible home devices.
Hydrific’s Droplet, a water sensor designed to facilitate water conservation by providing real-time data and insights, was honored in the Best Product Design of 2024 category. This category acknowledges hardware and industrial designs targeted at both mass and niche markets. Additionally, Droplet was recognized in the Best Designs of 2024 from Up-and-Coming Companies category, which celebrates outstanding designs from companies less than four years old.
The awards follow Hydrific’s successful Kickstarter campaign for the Droplet sensor, which was funded in eleven minutes and raised over ten times the initial funding goal. The awards identify organizations that address critical issues of today and anticipate future challenges, setting new benchmarks in various sectors of the economy. Fast Company’s panel evaluated thousands of submissions through a competitive application process to identify leading innovators globally.
