Hydrific, a subsidiary of LIXIL, has been recognized as a CES Innovation Awards 2025 Honoree for its smart home water sensor, Droplet. The announcement precedes the CES 2025 event, where Droplet will be featured for the first time in Eureka Park. This accolade is the third that Droplet has received in the current year.
Julia Deister, Leader of Hydrific, expressed appreciation for the recognition by CES, stating that Droplet is acknowledged among numerous pioneering technologies. The sensor is designed to simplify and enhance water conservation through real-time data and insights on household water usage. The device is easy to install, requiring no tools or professional assistance.
The selection process for the CES Innovation Awards involved a panel of industry experts, including media professionals, designers, and engineers. They evaluated 3400 entries based on criteria such as innovation, engineering functionality, aesthetics, and design. Droplet was noted for its design and engineering precision, capable of measuring water flow at a rate of 50 times per second.
Droplet will be presented at the Hydrific booth in Eureka Park, located at booth number 60440 in Hall G of the Venetian. It will also be featured alongside other honorees in the CES Innovation Awards Showcase during CES 2025.
