Leviton has introduced the Decora Smart Wi-Fi ELV/LED Phase-Selectable Dimmer (D2ELV) to its Decora Smart Wi-Fi range of smart devices. This dimmer is designed for both professional and consumer use, providing advanced lighting control at an affordable price. The D2ELV dimmer is compatible with My Leviton, Matter, and several smart home platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, and Apple Home.
The dimmer supports a variety of lighting types including ELV, LED, CFL, incandescent, and halogen. It is suitable for different lighting applications such as undercabinet, toe-kick, track, recessed, accent, or tape lighting. Users can choose between forward or reverse phase dimming modes for compatibility and smooth performance with LED lighting. Settings such as dimming range and fade rates can be adjusted using the My Leviton app or directly at the device.
James Shurte, senior product manager of smart home for Leviton, highlighted that the new dimmer provides a high-quality dimming experience and integrates seamlessly with a wide range of applications. The Decora Smart ELV/LED Dimmer is compatible with My Leviton, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Matter.
The My Leviton app can control various Decora Smart Wi-Fi devices, including smart GFCI outlets, EV series charging stations, and Leviton load center smart breakers. It provides features such as customizable fade rates, preset light levels, and settings to prevent flickering. The app also supports automatic lighting adjustments and can ensure lights are not left on unintentionally. Additionally, three-way control is possible by pairing with a wire-free Anywhere Companion Dimmer or a hard-wired Companion Dimmer.
