LG Electronics has unveiled its 2024 lineup of OLED TVs, which incorporates the latest artificial intelligence technology to enhance the home entertainment experience. The new lineup is powered by LG’s advanced AI processor, boasting a fourfold increase in AI performance compared to previous models. This improvement promises more vibrant and lifelike picture quality.

LG’s vision, “Sync to You, Open to All,” reflects a commitment to creating personalized experiences that are accessible to a diverse range of consumers. The company’s webOS smart TV platform is central to this approach, offering tailored solutions and an expanded ecosystem for enhanced connectivity.

The 2024 OLED TV lineup features the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor, specifically designed for OLED TVs. The LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 and LG OLED G4 TVs are equipped with this processor, which improves graphic performance by 70 percent and processing speed by 30 percent over its predecessor. The AI upscaling technology in these TVs sharpens blurry objects and backgrounds and refines colors based on analysis of frequently used shades. The OLED evo models have received the ClearMR certification from the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) for their picture quality.

Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro is a feature that enhances the three-dimensional appearance of images by analyzing brightness variations. The LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 model, a wireless OLED TV, is now available in a 65″ screen size. The M4 model is the first TV to support wireless video and audio transmission at up to 4K 144Hz.

LG’s OLED TVs also boast AI Sound Pro features for richer audio and virtual 11.1.2 surround sound. The AI separates vocals from soundtracks to clarify dialogue.

The gaming performance of LG’s OLED TVs is enhanced with a 4K 144Hz refresh rate and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC® Compatible and AMD FreeSync. The Game Optimizer feature allows for easy switching between game genre-specific display presets.

The webOS smart TV platform enables the creation of up to 10 individual profiles for personalized recommendations and a tailored Home screen. With the webOS Re:New program, LG offers a five-year webOS upgrade to owners of the company’s 2022 OLED TV models and 2022 QNED Mini LED 8K models.

LG’s 2024 smart TVs support Matter, the universal standard for smart home IoT interoperability, as well as Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast built-in. LG soundbars can wirelessly connect to LG’s OLED and QNED TVs through WOWCAST Built-in, and WOW Orchestra provides an immersive audio experience.

For improved accessibility, LG TVs offer a wide range of features within the Quick Card’s Accessibility section on the Home screen, including remote control tutorials and voice-activated chatbot services.
