LG Electronics has introduced an upgraded version of its residential air conditioner, the DUALCOOL AI Air. This new model integrates LG’s AI Core-Tech to enhance comfort, energy efficiency, and air care while offering increased convenience. The DUALCOOL AI Air adapts its operation based on user preferences, providing a tailored air conditioning experience. Utilizing the AI DUAL Inverter, the system automatically detects room temperature and adjusts the temperature, airflow direction, and speed to maintain consistent comfort levels.
The unit features AI Air mode, which incorporates a Human Detecting Sensor to pinpoint user location and analyze usage patterns through LG’s ThinQ app. This capability allows the air conditioner to create an efficient airflow pathway, adjusting settings for a comfortable indoor environment. It offers direct airflow for rapid cooling or heating, and switches to Soft Air mode with indirect airflow once the desired temperature is achieved. The addition of Sleep Timer+ improves sleep conditions by analyzing user preferences and providing a quiet, comfortable environment throughout the night.
Energy conservation is another focal point of the DUALCOOL AI Air. The system includes the AI kW Manager, allowing users to control and monitor electricity usage limits. With features like the Human Detecting Sensor and Window Open Detection, the air conditioner can detect room occupancy and temperature changes, activating energy-saving mode when necessary.
The air conditioning system also prioritizes air quality through its All Cleaning mode, which can be activated via the ThinQ app. This mode executes a complete maintenance routine, including condensate water production and Freeze Cleaning to clean the evaporator, supplemented by Auto Clean+ for drying the interior. The unit’s multi-step filtration process further enhances air cleanliness. For additional air purification, the Plasmaster Ionizer++ can be activated to eliminate up to 99.9 percent of adhering bacteria and capture dust, bacteria, and debris.
