Linkind, a brand under AiDot, has introduced the SL5C, a smart solar spotlight that is the first of its kind to incorporate Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology. This product is now available on Linkind’s website. The SL5C is designed to improve solar charging efficiency significantly beyond existing industry standards, ensuring dependable and consistent lighting even under cloudy or rainy conditions.
The SL5C distinguishes itself in the realm of solar-powered outdoor lighting by incorporating MPPT, a sophisticated solar optimization technology. This technology adjusts power output based on the available sunlight, enhancing charging efficiency to an industry-leading 89.9%, compared to the traditional 66.4%. Such advancements result in faster charging times, increased brightness, and up to 14 hours of continuous operation, maintaining performance regardless of weather conditions.
This solar spotlight also supports smart home integration. It is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, provided it is used with a Linkind BLE Mesh Hub. Users can operate the light using voice commands or through the Alexa and Google Home apps, allowing them to adjust brightness, colors, and white temperature easily. The AiDot app further enhances user experience by providing advanced customization options for various lighting settings based on different occasions and moods.
The SL5C is versatile in its application, suitable for a range of outdoor settings from landscaping accents to pathway lighting. Its design accommodates both ground placement and vertical mounting on structures such as fences and walls. This flexibility makes it suitable for highlighting entryways, architectural features, or hard-to-reach areas. Even in challenging weather, the SL5C provides reliable and consistent lighting, enhancing the atmosphere of any outdoor space.
Additionally, the SL5C offers 14 preset scenes and customizable options for dynamic light shows, supporting synchronized operation of up to 32 units for cohesive lighting effects throughout a yard. Users can benefit from smart scheduling features, which automatically turn the lights on at dusk and off at dawn, or follow personalized routines. The grouping and synchronization features simplify the process of applying settings to multiple lights, enhancing user convenience.
Consumers can choose between the Linkind SL5C and the Linkind SL5, with the former offering advanced MPPT technology and a longer runtime, particularly beneficial for areas with limited sunlight. The SL5C is set to officially launch on April 17, 2025, on Linkind’s website and is currently available on Amazon. For more detailed information, check out Linkind’s website here.
