Nuralogix, a company recognized for its work in Affective AI, has introduced an upgraded version of its Anura MagicMirror. This new version now includes 4G connectivity and an updated design. Its purpose is to enhance real-time, contactless health monitoring across various sectors, such as healthcare, retail, and corporate wellness.

The MagicMirror employs Nuralogix’s proprietary Transdermal Optical Imaging (TOI) technology, which assesses facial blood flow to provide health insights within 30 seconds. Linked with Nuralogix’s DeepAffex platform, the device offers over 100 health parameters. These include vital signs like blood pressure and pulse rate, physiological factors such as heart rate variability, general health risks like heart attack and stroke, mental wellness indicators, physical assessments like body mass index, and blood biomarker risks.

The introduction of 4G connectivity allows for real-time data transmission, making the MagicMirror suitable for healthcare providers and businesses. It is designed to be accessible in remote locations and versatile for various industries. The device also supports WiFi and Ethernet connections, offering flexibility in how it can be used.

The MagicMirror is built to accommodate both anonymous and registered users, making it adaptable for different applications. In clinics and hospitals, it assists in evaluating patient vitals and health risks. Retail locations, such as pharmacies and gyms, can use it to enhance customer interactions. It also provides a non-intrusive way to monitor health in elder care and assisted living environments. Additionally, corporations can use it to track employee well-being.

The device simplifies health monitoring by automatically detecting when a user is present and initiating a 30-second scan. This hands-free operation is particularly beneficial for individuals with mobility issues, elderly users, and others who need straightforward health assessments.

Chris Lin, Chief Marketing Officer at Nuralogix, commented on the enhancements, noting the increased accessibility and utility of the MagicMirror with its new features. This aligns with Nuralogix’s mission to advance global health monitoring using AI.
