Panasonic has announced the release of two new flagship OLED TV models, the Z95A and Z93A, scheduled for 2024. The Z95A will be available in 65-inch and 55-inch sizes, while the Z93A will come in a 77-inch size. Both models feature Fire TV functionality, enabling a personalized home screen that integrates streaming services, apps, live channels, and tailored recommendations.

The Z95A and Z93A are equipped with a new chipset and a brighter panel that supports Dolby Vision IQ Precision for enhanced picture quality. Audio performance is also a highlight, with 360 Soundscape Pro technology, tuned by Technics, providing an immersive 3D surround sound experience.

For gamers, these TVs are among the first to offer a 144Hz refresh rate, which promises increased speed and responsiveness during gameplay.

The integration of Fire TV into the Z95A and Z93A models allows for an aggregated content experience from both broadcast and streaming services. Mr. Akira Toyoshima, President and CEO of Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co., Ltd., emphasized the importance of simplifying content discovery for users.

The TVs also serve as smart home management hubs, fully compatible with Alexa-enabled devices and Apple HomeKit, including AirPlay functionality. They feature far-field voice control with Alexa, a first for a Panasonic smart TV, allowing users to launch apps, play music, search for titles, control smart home devices, and more using voice commands.

When not in use for watching content, the OLED TVs can transform into dynamic displays with the Fire TV Ambient Experience, which can showcase personal photos, calendars, and reminders.

Panasonic has integrated features from its proprietary OS, including the Penta Tuner for advanced broadcast reception, which supports various reception methods including Internet (IPTV) and home network (TV>IP). The TVs come with a full remote control, HbbTV Operator App for live and on-demand content access, USB Recording, rewind live TV functionality, Auto tuner detection, and an advanced Channel Editor.

The new Z95A and Z93A OLED TVs incorporate the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II and Master OLED panels, fine-tuned for color accuracy in collaboration with Hollywood colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld. The new processor enhances the 4K Remaster Engine, streaming picture clarity, and supports Dolby Vision IQ Precision detail, which adjusts light levels on screen to bring out more details in various lighting conditions.
