Parcel Safe Systems has introduced the Defender line of Parcel Safes, designed to address package theft. The products are developed and manufactured in the United States. The Defender Advantage model, part of this line, aims to set a standard for security solutions suited for both residential and small business use. This model is accessible through a smartphone application, offering security and flexibility.

Statistics from recent years show a significant increase in package theft. In 2023 alone, 250 million packages were reported stolen, equating to one in every 200 deliveries, with financial losses reaching approximately $13.4 billion. This trend carried into 2024, with 44 million packages stolen in just three months. These figures highlight the necessity for practical solutions to protect deliveries.

Kevin Zerman, Partner and Chief Technology Officer at Parcel Safe Systems, emphasizes the importance of providing a reliable remedy for both homeowners and small business owners. Ed Conn, Managing Partner of Parcel Safe, stated that the Defender Advantage is a comprehensive solution that eliminates the need for homeowners to wait for deliveries or use remote lockers. This product aims to simplify the delivery process while ensuring security.

The Defender Advantage is suitable for new construction homes and can be installed as easily as a window, allowing parcels to be dropped directly into a home, garage, or business. Alternatively, pedestal-mounted units with secure vaults are available. Customers are notified instantly upon delivery through a mobile app, which also allows remote access to the unit and the option to assign pin codes to different users or carriers.

The Defender line comes in five colors with customization options. These products are designed and assembled in the U.S., providing a solution for those seeking to safeguard their deliveries.
