iRobot Corp., aka “Roomba”, has announced the release of its second-quarter 2024 financial results. The results will be available after market close on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. The earnings press release will be posted on the company’s investor relations website.

On August 7, iRobot will conduct a live conference call and webcast to discuss the financial results and provide an outlook for the company. The live webcast will be accessible on the company’s investor relations website, and an archived version will be available after the live event.

As Roomba owners ourselves, we are very interested in what the Roomba earnings look like for this quarter, as well as over the next year. If iRobot goes under, then software updates and parts for our Roomba will stop. That means we’ll effectively have a very expensive rock in our house. So we are concerned with iRobot’s financial health, if only so that our Roomba stays maintained.

iRobot was previously set to be acquired by Amazon, but that deal fell through. This led to iRobot having financial difficulties and having to restructure, as well as re-plan their future goals to return to profitability. iRobot has also recently acquired a new CEO, Gary Cohen. With Gary came plans to return iRobot to profitability and growth.
