The Google Nest Doorbell Wired (2nd Generation) in Ash is currently on sale for $149.99. This doorbell includes 3 hours of event video history, allowing you to spot and record important activity with clips up to 5 minutes long and 2-second previews for context. Its enhanced camera view lets you see people head to toe and packages left as close as 8 inches from your door. You can leave visitors a message with just a tap, responding quickly with pre-recorded messages.

The device works with compatible doorbell transformers, requiring a 16-24VAC, 10-40VA rated doorbell transformer and chime, which are sold separately. You may need to replace existing hardware. Control is facilitated through the Google Home app, where you can view live HD video, replay video recordings, and talk to visitors. The live video feed can also be viewed at home.google.com. Note that the Nest Doorbell (battery) requires a free Google Account and is not compatible with the Nest app or Nest site.

For enhanced functionality, the doorbell works with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, allowing you to stream your live video feed or communicate with people at your door. The Nest Doorbell also includes a video backup feature in case of a Wi-Fi outage, recording events for up to an hour. HDR and night vision capabilities ensure a sharp, vivid view of your front doorstep, whether in sunlight, shadows, or darkness. The talk and listen feature allows you to chat through the doorbell from anywhere, providing convenient communication with visitors or delivery personnel. Some features require working internet and Wi-Fi, and continuous video recording requires a Nest Aware Plus subscription.
