SwitchBot has introduced the SwitchBot Outdoor Security Camera 2K, featuring a 3MP lens for high-resolution image quality. This camera includes a built-in spotlight and infrared night vision to provide clear, full-color footage in low-light conditions.
The camera integrates with the SwitchBot Ecosystem and offers several smart features. It has AI-powered motion detection that recognizes people and reduces unnecessary alerts. Customizable detection zones allow focusing on specific areas. Two-way audio enables real-time communication with visitors via the SwitchBot app. Voice control is available through Alexa, and a tamper-proof alarm emits a 106dB alert if disturbed.
Installation of the SwitchBot Outdoor Security Camera 2K is designed to be straightforward, with options for adhesive or strap mounting. The camera can be powered in multiple ways. Solar-powered charging with SwitchBot’s Solar Panel for OSC provides year-round power with minimal sunlight. When used with a SwitchBot Hub, the camera can function for up to 365 days without sunlight. A standalone 10000mAh battery offers up to 180 days of operation per charge.
The camera is IP65 waterproof and can operate in temperatures ranging from -10ºC to 50ºC, making it suitable for various weather conditions. Storage options include local storage via a microSD card up to 256GB and cloud storage with a 14-day free trial.
