SwitchBot, a brand specializing in smart home retrofitting and automation, has announced its participation at IFA 2024. The company will unveil new products, including the SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K10+ Pro Combo, SwitchBot Air Purifier, and SwitchBot Roller Shade. These products are available for pre-order and will officially launch later this year. Additionally, SwitchBot is showcasing three recent launches: SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card, SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier (Auto-refill), and SwitchBot Meter Pro & Meter Pro (CO2 Monitor).
The SwitchBot Roller Shade is an adjustable and fabric-replaceable smart roller shade. It has a width range from 22.8 inches to 72.8 inches and offers fabric options such as 100% blackout, UV protection, and thermal insulation. The Roller Shade can be operated via the SwitchBot app, voice commands, or remote control and supports automation scenes. It integrates with major smart home platforms through Matter-compatible hubs.
Even better, the roller shade comes in two variants. There is a battery powered option with the battery estimated to last 8 months, or a solar powered option for basically unlimited power. The new smart shade also works with multiple smart home hubs, including Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Home Assistant.

Other newly launched SwitchBot products include the Wallet Finder Card, an ultra-slim tracker compatible with Apple’s Find My network; the Evaporative Humidifier (Auto-refill), which uses cold evaporation to improve indoor air quality and has automatic refills; and the Meter Pro & Meter Pro (CO2 Monitor), which provide real-time monitoring of temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels.
