TCL, a leading consumer electronics brand and technology company, has recently announced the extension of its partnership with the NFL. This extension will integrate the NFL FAST channel and AVOD (Advertising-based Video On Demand) programs into TCLtv+, TCL’s streaming service. TCLtv+ will host more than 500 hours of NFL-related content, including original programming, live shows like NFL Report, NFL GameDay Preview, weekly game highlights, full game replays, and a channel ticker with continuous NFL news.
The NFL Channel on TCLtv+, available on all TCL Google TVs, represents a significant expansion of sports content for the streaming service. The channel’s coverage will begin with the NFL Draft in April, a major event marking the commencement of the NFL Channel and AVOD programming on TCLtv+. As the Official TV Partner of the NFL, TCL aims to offer a wide array of free premium content to consumers.
The NFL Channel will broadcast a range of programming, including current NFL headlines, NFL Media content, and live events such as the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft. Mark Zhang, President of TCL North America, stated that the partnership enhances the fan experience with TCL’s advanced technology and big-screen TVs.
The NFL Channel and AVOD offerings will join other content on the TCLtv+ app, which is already available on TCL Google TV and will soon expand to all TCL Connected TVs in the United States and Canada. The content lineup for the NFL off-season includes NFL Media Originals, NFL Red Zone Replays, historical re-airs of games, themed marathons, and Game Day All Access content. In addition, quarterly original events will be featured on the NFL’s AVOD programs.
Haohong Wang, General Manager at TCL Research America, emphasized that the collaboration with the NFL delivers a comprehensive range of content that caters to fans. TCLtv+’s service continues to grow, now featuring over 300 FAST Channels and thousands of film and TV series from various networks and studios.
