TCL has introduced the QM7K series, a new addition to its 2025 TV lineup under the Precise Dimming Series. This release follows the QM6K, launched earlier in the year, and is significant for its incorporation of the Halo Control System. This system brings a comprehensive upgrade to the Mini LED technology, enhancing picture quality across a range of sizes from 55 inches to 115 inches. The QM7K aims to provide an immersive entertainment experience with its advancements in display technology.
The QM7K series features several technological enhancements compared to its predecessors. One of the standout elements is the Halo Control System, which improves color and grayscale accuracy and minimizes blooming for a more natural picture quality. This system includes a Super High Energy LED Chip and a Super Condensed Micro Lens to achieve high brightness and precise light control. Additionally, the TCL Micro OD technology reduces the optical distance between the backlight and the diffuser plate, further enhancing picture clarity and contrast.
The QM7K offers improved performance with a high contrast HVA Panel and advanced QLED technology. This combination is designed to enhance color accuracy and contrast, providing a more dynamic viewing experience. The series also includes a revamped processing system featuring Zero-Delay Transient Response, which minimizes lag and enhances image sharpness. A Bi-directional 23-bit Backlight Controller and a Dynamic Light Algorithm work together to optimize brightness and picture quality.
Audio quality is also a focal point of the QM7K series, which includes premium audio technology by Bang & Olufsen. This addition aims to deliver a more accurate home theater sound experience. The series is designed to cater to a wide range of home environments with its variety of screen sizes, including a new XXL 115-inch option for those looking to create an impressive home theater setup.
The QM7K replaces the previous QM751G model and introduces several new features. These include a CrystGlow HVA Panel, TCL AiPQ Pro Processor, and a native panel refresh rate of 144Hz. The series supports various advanced display standards such as Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced. It also includes features like Game Accelerator, Art Mode, and Google TV. The design has been updated with a thinner bezel-less frame and a pedestal stand for select sizes.
