TECNO has introduced its first AI glasses, the TECNO AI Glasses Series, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025. The series consists of two models, the TECNO AI Glasses and TECNO AI Glasses Pro, which are designed to enhance the user experience with advanced photography and augmented reality (AR) capabilities. Attendees of MWC Barcelona 2025 can view these glasses at booth 6B11, Hall 6, Fira Gran Via.
The TECNO AI Glasses Series incorporates a high-resolution camera and advanced imaging systems, similar to those found in TECNO’s flagship smartphone, the CAMON 40 Premier. These components enable users to capture high-quality images with vivid detail even in various lighting conditions. Features include ColorVisionary filters and SmartSnap, which can recognize scenes and generate captions for images. The glasses also support AI-driven content creation and sharing on social media.
The TECNO AI Glasses are equipped with TECNO AI, which offers interactions through the Ella AI Assistant. This assistant can help with activity planning and provide food recommendations, among other functions. The AI Info function compiles notifications and data into concise reports to save users time. Additional capabilities include object and location recognition, real-time translation for over 100 languages, and features like memos and schedule reminders, accessible through a compatible Android app.
Designed for comfort and durability, the TECNO AI Glasses Series uses lightweight resin lenses. The aviator and browline styles cater to different preferences, while a 250mAh battery supports extended usage with efficient power management. Connectivity is ensured with Wi-Fi 16 and Bluetooth 5.4, and the glasses are equipped with a high-quality speaker system that minimizes sound leakage.
The Pro model features an AR display with WaveGuide technology and a MicroLED screen, developed in collaboration with Meta-Bounds. This display offers a 30° field of view and high brightness, providing visibility in bright conditions. The AR capabilities are suitable for navigation, translation, and other real-time applications, aiming to simplify everyday tasks.
