EZVIZ, a company specializing in smart home technology, has developed the RS20 Pro, a robot designed to automate cleaning tasks for both hard floors and carpets. The RS20 Pro includes features such as automatic mop installation and detachment, a self-cleaning roller brush system, auto-lifting side brushes, and dynamic edge mopping. Additionally, the robot comes with a multifunctional charging station capable of automatic dust emptying, mop washing, hot air drying, and clean water refilling. The RS20 Pro also serves as a mobile smart camera, incorporating EZVIZ’s security technology.
The robot is designed to handle delicate carpets by detecting them in real time to avoid contact with wet mops. It automatically detaches mops before moving onto a carpet, raises the side brushes to protect the fabric, and increases suction power for deeper cleaning. It uses LDS LiDAR, structured 3D laser, and an AI camera to navigate and identify over 65 types of common objects, making it suitable for homes with pets and children. The RS20 Pro vacuums with 7,200 suction power and mops with dual swirling pads applying 10N pressure. Its 3-in-1 roller brush combines a rubber strip and a bristle brush to clean thoroughly.
For maintenance, the RS20 Pro self-empties waste into its station and uses a built-in blade to cut tangled hair on the brush. EZVIZ states that the RS20 Pro allows homeowners to reduce the number of cleaning tools needed, providing more convenience. As part of the EZVIZ Green initiative, the RS20 Pro uses recycled materials equivalent to about 16 plastic bottles and supports the EZVIZ Global Forest Plan.
