TP-Link Systems Inc., recognized worldwide for its networking and smart home solutions, has entered into a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County through the Connect & Care community program. This collaboration aims to enhance local communities using technology and volunteer efforts. The partnership commenced with TP-Link employees, referred to as “Linkers,” constructing two playhouses for children in need within Orange County. This activity is the initial phase of a larger commitment to support Habitat for Humanity’s goal of affordable homeownership for families in need.

Jeff Barney, President of TP-Link Systems Inc., emphasized the company’s dedication to fostering connections beyond their technological offerings through active community participation. The Connect & Care program is designed to support local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity by encouraging employee involvement and contributing to community welfare. Barney expressed enthusiasm about the future possibilities that this partnership may offer.

Expanding beyond conventional home construction, the partnership will involve integrating TP-Link’s smart home and networking solutions into both new and existing Habitat homes. This integration aims to improve connectivity and security for families associated with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. As part of the initiative, TP-Link has already donated a range of smart home products, including a Deco Wi-Fi 7 Mesh System, Tapo Smart Door Bell, and Tapo RV30 Max Plus Robot Vacuum, to families in Irvine, California, which is close to TP-Link’s global headquarters.

Michael Valentine, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, highlighted the importance of reliable home connectivity in modern life. He noted that TP-Link’s contributions to both home-building and technology provision will support the long-term stability and security of homeowners involved with Habitat for Humanity.

The Connect & Care program, an outreach initiative by TP-Link, is centered on utilizing the company’s expertise in technology and its workforce to address community needs and advance digital inclusion. The partnership with Habitat for Humanity is a notable step in TP-Link’s consistent efforts to strengthen community relations and demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility through practical measures.
